Reality of a Dream

On a cold, windy, summer night,

While sitting together in total silence,

We are gazing at the beautiful city skyline,

Staring at the far-distant, shining stars,

Listening to the beating waves of the ocean,

And feeling the warmth of your body,

Believing that nothing could ever be better than this!

Because of you, because of this night,

Of a dream made perfect!

But such dream is not made to last forever,

Because you were meant to follow your own dreams…

Without me. ='(

And this is the TRUE reality of a dream…

For that night will no longer exist in eternity.

(Actually, after some clearing thoughts, I’m thankful things would never happen, which should be the way it was supposed to be…)
